Reel, Complete is a community-based blog that centers diversity in film, television, music, and media of all kinds. Reel, Complete will house different subsets of work, including digital magazine Featured Content of the Month (FCM) and Starting Five, my quarterly report on what’s happening in my world of production.

What to Expect from Reel, Complete and FCM.

Reel, Complete acts as the foundation where several types of blog posts will be housed. Here, you can anticipate regular opinion columns or critiques from different writers and creators.

Featured Content of the Month (FCM) is a monthly digital magazine that allows creatives to congregate and celebrate one another’s work, where we highlight categories such as song, music video, short film, creative direction, and creator of the month. FCM is a way for us to celebrate our wins and expand our connections outside of our immediate creative circles. Each issue will be different, so if your art medium wasn’t previously listed, you can still submit your work or be nominated for the next issue! When FCM goes live, there will be a blog post version as well as a digital magazine/zine edition.

You can follow the journey of FCM in my quarterly report, Starting Five, which gives you the play-by-play on what was and gives you a highlight on what’s to come. Here, you can get a front row seat to my successes and failures when it comes to navigating the film industry.

When to Expect from FCM and Starting Five.

FCM is still in its early stages and is expected to be announced in Spring 2026. If there are folks you want to nominate for the first issue, feel free to send their information my way or comment #FCMCreator on their posts. Don’t be shy, you can tag yourself as well!

The first issue of Starting Five releases on October 1, 2025.
